HOW I WORK
Therapy for Concussion, Stroke, TBI & Neurological Issues
Curtis Holt-Robinson provides specialized therapy for adults who are suffering with concussion, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and unexplained neurological symptoms.
Support for the Psychological Effects of Brain Injury
Most people have a medical team helping with the body and brain. And importantly, people can have a counsellor helping with the emotional and psychological effects of these issues.
After an injury like this, people may feel angry, frustrated, anxious, scared, or depressed about their condition.
Sometimes people have experienced effects on their memory, connections to their body, and relationships with family and friends. All this comes into the realm of counselling and psychotherapy.
Together we’ll make sense of these things, so that you can return to feeling like yourself again, and become again open to experiencing the things you know and love.

How We Work Together
Through meeting together, therapy can help you feel greater relief, gain deeper insight into your experiences, and give you an opportunity to develop a meaningful life once again.
We meet weekly, to allow therapy to become an integrated piece into the flow of life and recovery.
Getting better means consistent support, experience, and understanding. Here, we’ll move towards changing, growing, and regaining your sense of direction.
